Appointed Exclusive
I begun working with this client in 2021. They had expanded their engineered substrate portfolio from SiC into GaN not long before (2019). They needed help to build their GaN focused team and were struggling with finding specifically technical candidates. I came in a filled their technical roles. Subsequently I was invited to their site, where they made me their exclusive external recruiter.
Since then, I have continued to support two of their sites in Europe locations. Placing roles such as their R&D Director, Product Marketing Director and Technology Expert (Si).


Covering All Teams
This particular client had two UK sites, with different teams. I worked separately with the RF team, the Quality Department and another more general Electronics Team to fill various roles. I started with the Electronics team looking for a Engineering Manager and various engineers. After successfully filling these positions I was then introduced to their RF team. The RF team were expanding and looking to bring on a RF/Microwave System Engineer, a RF Test Engineer and an Application Engineer. We successfully filled all three roles. Meanwhile I worked with the Quality department to find a Quality Manager who had previous experience/exposure with IC manufacturing at wafer level.
EPI Team
This clients location will remain anonymous. They had built a new
manufacturing facility, designed to have separate spaces for chip and epitaxy production. They had to build their Epitaxy team. The roles varied from analysts to process engineers and equipment technicians.
I worked together with two of the clients internal recruiters to build the team successfully. We relocated candidates from various locations in Europe and Asia.

Unicorn Candidate
A US based company were looking for a Director of Sales who understood basic Semiconductor Processes. They had a very specific idea of the skills, experience, personality, approach etc. needed for this role. It was a big project and we took our time working together, regularly re-defining the search criteria. This took intense candidate screening calls to make sure all requirements were met. We successfully found the perfect fit in the end. Roles of this importance take that level of time and precision.
